Every year the Redondo Beach Police Officers' Association donates money and time to benefit numerous charities, groups and organizations in the Redondo Beach area. The Redondo Beach Rotary Club Community Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of community life in Redondo Beach and its neighboring communities.
The KEEP-SAFE Coalition, established in 2000, was co-founded by the Redondo Beach Police Department as a non-profit organization based in the South Bay. Staffed with volunteers from social services, law enforcement and financial institutions, the mission of KEEP-SAFE is to heighten awareness and help community members and law enforcement personnel recognize the financial and physical abuse of the elderly.

The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty.
